Nature to explore by bike or on foot
Bibione boasts over 200 kilometres of cycling paths.
Among the most popular routes is the Adriatico Promenade, a seafront path stretching for more than 10 kilometres and lit even in the evening.

From here, you can cycle through the pine forest to the Bibione Lighthouse or head toward Valgrande along nature-filled paths. The route along the Tagliamento River is just as evocative, winding through dirt roads, rural landscapes, and traditional fishermen’s huts.
Experiences in the lagoon
To explore the area differently, rent a kayak or canoe and glide through the canals of the Bibione lagoon.
It’s an evocative nature experience, with traditional fishermen’s huts, herons skimming the water, and ever-changing light.
Choose between self-guided or guided excursions, even at sunset or by moonlight.

The five waters of Bibione
Bibione is surrounded by five bodies of water, each with its own charm: the Adriatic Sea and its wide golden beach; the thermal baths, fed by warm water rising from over 500 meters underground; the quiet, biodiverse lagoon; the Tagliamento River, one of Europe’s most unspoilt rivers and the town’s natural border; and the Litoranea Veneta, an ancient waterway winding through picturesque canals.

Environmental protection
There are two important acknowledgements which prove that environmental care has always been a priority in Bibione: the EMAS Environmental Certification (the first tourist location in Europe which has adopted a Environmental Care System for the land) and the prestigious Blue Flag (awarded first time in 1996).
